Sanity - Lock it and Loadit
Everyone’s going online! Sanity has just launched loadit.com.au. This is a purchase and music subscription service. Gizmodo is pretty scathing as the service is chock full of Windows DRM that puts it at odds with recent movement to go DRM free. And they of course don’t support the iPod. Who was the genius behind that strategy? Perhaps Microsoft paid for it all :-).

First of all.. doesn’t Apple have the iTunes store??
And if you actually buy an individual track, you’re licenced to put it onto your ipod.

Hi Adrian .. I’d love to buy a track and see if it would go to my iPod. Unfortunately the Loadit client needs Windows so I can’t try that little experiment (I’m on a Mac). However Loadit promotes itself as a subscription service, which relies on Windows DRM which does mean no luck for the iPod. And unless they are selling DRM free tracks (as many services now do) I can’t see purchases as any different.
