Nothing like a good 40 degrees to round out 2007! At midnight it was still 32.4 as I watched the fireworks from just above the Clifton Hill cricket ground. 2 bottles of champagne didn’t last long (Onya Marg for that second sneaky bottle), but they set us up nicely for the walk back to Sarah’s place.

A very big thank you to all APPLEBOXEE’s! Your support has been invaluable and has given us a great leg up into 2008. We’re about a week shy of having our doors open for 4 months, we’ve got 600 active renters with 4,800 movies bookmarked! We’ve also got 30 pages worth of fantastic testimonials in our testimonial book - many thanks for your feedback and I look forward to displaying some of these here soon.

Starting a business from scratch is daunting and risky for anyone. Add to that, we’ve picked a mature market absolutely dominated by large franchise chains. But we are making headway and learning a lot as we go along. It’s Business and Marketing 101 by just jumping in!
